Responsibilities
- Drive commercial delivery vans to deliver packages to residential and commercial customer doorsteps in a safe and timely manner.
- Load and unload packages from the delivery van, ensuring inventory accuracy and proper handling of items.
- Follow Amazon delivery safety policies and procedures, including pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Provide exceptional customer service by adhering to delivery protocols, including leaving packages at the door when appropriate or obtaining a signature.
- Utilize handheld devices to scan packages, update delivery status, and resolve any delivery exceptions efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle, and keep work areas tidy at the DSP facility.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class C) and a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3-5 years).
- Ability to lift, carry, and push packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Willingness and ability to work in various weather conditions, including rain, heat, and snow.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.
- Basic computer literacy and comfort with handheld technology (tablets) for scanning and navigation.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
