Responsibilities
- Safely Deliver Packages: Navigate efficiently through the Portland area to deliver packages to customers' doorsteps.
- Customer Service: Interact with customers in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner, ensuring a positive unboxing experience.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Keep your delivery vehicle clean, organized, and in excellent working condition throughout your shift.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and Amazon's operational guidelines.
- Route Planning: Plan your stops effectively to maximize efficiency and ensure timely deliveries.
- Package Handling: Properly load, unload, and handle packages to ensure they arrive undamaged.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid Class B CDL or Class C license with air brakes (depending on vehicle type).
- Clean Driving Record: No more than 3 moving violations or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years.
- Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and perform physical tasks such as walking and standing for long periods.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Residency: Must reside in the Portland, OR area.
