Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI ethics governance frameworks aligned with IEEE 7000 and evolving 2026 regulatory standards
- Conduct algorithmic bias audits across autonomous systems and generative AI models
- Lead stakeholder workshops with policymakers, engineers, and ethicists to define ethical boundaries
- Create real-time monitoring dashboards for AI decision transparency and accountability
- Author whitepapers on emerging AI risks and mitigation strategies for industry adoption
- Advise cross-functional teams on ethical implications of AI deployment in critical infrastructure
- Partner with legal teams to ensure compliance with next-generation AI legislation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in AI Ethics, Computer Science, Philosophy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 3+ years experience in AI governance, algorithmic auditing, or responsible AI initiatives
- Deep understanding of emerging AI regulations (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, state-level frameworks)
- Proficiency in bias detection tools (IBM AI Fairness 360, Google What-If Tool)
- Published research or practical experience in ethical AI implementation
- Strong ability to translate complex ethical concepts into technical requirements
- Certification in AI governance (e.g., CEGAI, CAIG) or equivalent expertise
- Experience with agile development and ethical integration into DevOps pipelines
