Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, neural interfaces) with 5+ year market impact projections
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligning with business objectives and market disruption timelines
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify innovation opportunities and mitigate future risks
- Present futuristic technology insights to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs to pioneer next-gen solutions
- Author thought leadership publications on technology trends and their societal implications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership at Fortune 500 companies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record of forecasting technology adoption cycles and market shifts
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains: AI, biotech, or space technology
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Published research or patents in technology forecasting or innovation management
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and risk assessment frameworks
