Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for quantum computing, AI, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional sprints to prototype 2026-viable solutions in our Austin innovation lab
- Establish ethical frameworks for emerging technologies including AGI and neural interfaces
- Partner with VCs to identify and acquire breakthrough startups targeting 2026 market needs
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board members quarterly
- Author white papers on quantum-AI hybrid systems and their commercial applications
- Mentor a team of 15+ futurists and engineers through quarterly hackathons
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology roles with quantum/AI/biotech exposure
- Proven track record of launching post-2020 tech innovations
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Deep understanding of quantum computing architectures and machine learning convergence
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Experience leading teams of 15+ through multi-year R&D cycles
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum simulation tools
- Clearance for government-level tech partnership programs
