Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive innovation strategy targeting 2026 market opportunities
- Lead cross-functional teams in ideating, prototyping, and scaling breakthrough technologies
- Analyze emerging trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to identify disruptive opportunities
- Secure $5M+ in R&D funding through strategic partnerships and investor relations
- Establish KPIs for innovation pipeline success and drive data-driven decision-making
- Mentor a team of 8+ innovation specialists and futurists
- Present strategic roadmaps to the board and C-suite quarterly
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, product development, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching market-defining products or technologies
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, IoT, blockchain) and future forecasting
- Experience securing $3M+ in innovation funding or grants
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem
- Exceptional presentation skills with C-suite experience
- Strategic thinking with ability to balance vision with practical execution
