Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation strategy roadmap aligned with long-term business objectives
- Lead R&D initiatives in emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI, biotech)
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets and vendor partnerships
- Present futuristic concepts to executive stakeholders and investors
- Establish KPIs for innovation pipeline and track ROI on futuristic projects
- Mentor a team of 12+ futurists and technologists
- Monitor global tech trends and competitive disruption signals
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation or strategic foresight leadership
- Proven track record scaling futuristic initiatives from concept to market
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR)
- Executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation journals
- Experience managing distributed innovation teams across 3+ continents
- Proficiency in innovation frameworks (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method)
