Responsibilities
- Develop horizon-scanning methodologies to identify breakthrough technologies with 5-10 year societal impact
- Lead cross-functional workshops mapping convergence points between AI, quantum systems, and climate resilience
- Author white papers on ethical implications of emerging tech for Fortune 100 clients
- Design scenario-planning frameworks for geopolitical shifts in resource allocation and digital sovereignty
- Advocate for responsible innovation through keynote presentations at Davos and TED-style forums
- Establish KPIs measuring technological adoption curves across 15+ industry verticals
- Mentor PhD candidates in future studies through our FutureVision Fellowship program
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or related field with 8+ years of applied forecasting experience
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature Futures, Technological Forecasting) on exponential technologies
- Proven track record of influencing C-suite strategy at Fortune 50 companies
- Expertise in predictive modeling using Bayesian networks and Monte Carlo simulations
- Deep understanding of convergent technologies: AGI, synthetic biology, and decentralized infrastructure
- Fluency in at least two analytical frameworks (e.g., Delphi Method, Horizon Scanning)
- Portfolio demonstrating impact on technology policy or enterprise innovation roadmaps
