Responsibilities
- Analyze and synthesize global megatrends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to forecast 2026 market landscapes
- Develop strategic roadmaps for product innovation aligned with 5-year horizon predictions
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed future-proofing principles into organizational DNA
- Partner with C-suite to translate foresight into actionable business strategy
- Author quarterly '2026 Pulse' reports with data-driven scenario planning
- Monitor emerging technologies and regulatory shifts affecting long-term viability
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial success
- Expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI/ML, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Published thought leadership on future trends (white papers, TED talks, etc.)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Studies required
