Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for 2026 deployment horizons
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical integration frameworks for enterprise applications
- Lead quantum algorithm optimization for real-world problem domains
- Establish quantum security protocols resistant to emerging threat vectors
- Architect scalable quantum communication networks with sub-1ms latency
- Collaborate with materials science teams to optimize qubit coherence times
- Define quantum computing roadmaps for Fortune 500 partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computational Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years designing quantum systems with demonstrated qubit coherence >100ms
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC, etc.)
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and quantum hardware interfaces
- Track record of translating quantum theory into commercial applications
