Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum architectures for 2026 deployment
- Lead quantum algorithm development for optimization problems
- Develop error-correction protocols for 1000+ qubit systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams on cryogenic control systems
- Present quantum roadmaps to C-suite and government stakeholders
- Publish 2+ peer-reviewed papers annually
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in specialized techniques
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing/Physics or equivalent experience
- 5+ years designing quantum error correction systems
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum frameworks
- Published research in Nature/Science journals
- Familiarity with quantum machine learning applications
- Experience with superconducting or ion-trap qubits
- Security clearance for government partnership projects
