Responsibilities
- Design and optimize quantum circuit architectures for 100+ qubit processors with 99.9% fidelity
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for practical industrial applications
- Lead integration of quantum error correction protocols into hardware designs
- Collaborate with semiconductor teams to engineer quantum control electronics
- Establish quantum security frameworks for post-quantum cryptography systems
- Present quantum architecture roadmaps to C-suite and government partners
- Mentor quantum engineers in advanced superconducting and photonic systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computational Physics, or Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years experience with quantum computing hardware (superconducting/photonic)
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum error correction or scalability
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Certification in quantum algorithm design (e.g., IBM Quantum Professional)
- Deep understanding of cryogenic systems and microwave engineering
- Proven track record of patenting quantum technologies
