Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026+ technology innovation roadmap
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions
- Identify emerging tech trends and assess market disruption potential
- Secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions and startups
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite and external stakeholders
- Manage R&D budget allocation for high-impact projects
- Drive ethical technology adoption frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in emerging tech commercialization
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, biotech, or AI ethics
- Experience with agile innovation methodologies
- Strong network within Silicon Valley/Austin tech circles
- Advanced degree in relevant field (PhD/MSc preferred)
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism
