Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap, aligning with global sustainability and technological advancement goals
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' teams to prototype and launch breakthrough products in AI, biotech, and clean energy
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neuro interfaces) for commercial viability
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation hubs
- Present quarterly innovation briefings to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Establish KPIs for measuring impact on market disruption and societal benefit
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate an organization-wide culture of bold experimentation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Innovation Management, Future Studies, or related field; PhD preferred
- 7+ years in strategic innovation or R&D leadership within tech or advanced industries
- Proven track record of launching products that created new market categories
- Deep expertise in emerging tech trends and their socioeconomic implications
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario-planning capabilities
- Experience securing $5M+ innovation funding from public/private sources
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., WFS, APF) or equivalent
- Portfolio demonstrating at least three paradigm-shifting projects
