Responsibilities
- Architect and execute multi-year innovation roadmaps targeting 2026 market disruptions
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum computing, AI, and biotech convergence solutions
- Identify and incubate disruptive ventures through Horizon's proprietary FutureScan methodology
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Present futuristic market analyses to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Drive patent portfolios and IP strategies for emerging technology verticals
- Mentor innovation fellows in exponential technology adoption frameworks
Qualifications
- 15+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or venture development
- Proven track record in scaling exponential technology ventures
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or decentralized systems
- PhD or advanced degree in Technology, Engineering, or Futuristics preferred
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed innovation journals
- Experience with scenario planning for 2026+ market transformations
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Innovation Management required
