Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic frameworks for emerging technologies (quantum AI, neural interfaces, climate tech)
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams of physicists, engineers, and ethicists on moonshot projects
- Produce forward-looking white papers and policy recommendations for global governance
- Design ethical guardrails for autonomous systems and human augmentation technologies
- Partner with Fortune 500 companies to integrate 2026-ready solutions
- Represent Nexus Horizons at Davos, TED, and UN Innovation Summits
- Mentor next-generation futurists through our incubator program
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Systems Theory, or Futurology (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in strategic innovation at top-tier tech or research institutions
- Published work in Nature, Science, or similar peer-reviewed futurism journals
- Expertise in exponential technology forecasting (Moore's Law, Kurzweil projections)
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, R, or Julia preferred)
- Deep understanding of global sustainability frameworks (UN SDGs, IPCC reports)
- Proven track record of translating theoretical models into real-world applications
- Certification in AI Ethics or similar governance frameworks
