This position reports directly to our Chief Innovation Officer and offers equity participation in our moonshot projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year technology foresight frameworks for emerging sectors including quantum AI, biotech convergence, and neural interfaces
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions with venture-scale potential
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies before market adoption
- Create innovation roadmaps aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals
- Mentor junior futurists in emerging technology assessment methodologies
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board stakeholders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic innovation or technology foresight roles
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, AI ethics, AR/VR, synthetic biology, or climate tech
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed innovation journals
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
- Portfolio demonstrating innovation strategy execution
