Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, synthetic biology) with 3-5 year commercial viability
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections and regulatory landscapes
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling breakthrough solutions
- Build and maintain partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia
- Translate complex technological trends into actionable business strategies for executive leadership
- Manage $2M+ innovation budgets with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Present foresight findings to C-suite and board members through compelling data narratives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in technology strategy with proven 2020-2025 trend prediction track record
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, or neurotech)
- Experience leading cross-functional innovation teams through full product lifecycle
- Strong analytical skills with futures methodologies (scenario planning, horizon scanning)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating successful commercialization of emerging technologies
- Certifications in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP) or innovation management preferred
