Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses within the Honolulu region.
- Practice defensive driving techniques to ensure the safety of passengers, cargo, and pedestrians.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers, handling inquiries and resolving delivery issues.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in optimal working condition.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and handling equipment.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and digital records in the company’s management system.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License and a clean driving record (no major infractions).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Basic computer proficiency for logging deliveries and tracking orders.
- Physical stamina to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong time management skills and a commitment to punctuality.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
