Responsibilities
- Safely operate late-model semi-trucks on dedicated regional routes
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage freight delivery timelines with efficient route planning
- Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Maintain clean and organized truck interior/exterior
- Utilize telematics systems for performance optimization
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean MVR and no preventable accidents in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient in electronic logging device (ELD) usage
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexible schedule with overnight travel capability
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor roadside repairs
