Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods within Los Angeles County
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Respond to delivery issues and route changes promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Ability to work Saturdays and Sundays, 8-10 hour shifts
- Familiarity with LA metro area and traffic patterns
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge
