Responsibilities
- Perform safe, timely, and courteous delivery of packages to residential and commercial clients.
- Operate delivery vehicles according to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Interact with customers in a friendly, professional, and helpful manner to ensure high satisfaction.
- Inspect vehicles before and after shifts, reporting any maintenance issues immediately.
- Accurately complete daily logs, delivery receipts, and paperwork.
- Handle packages with care to ensure they arrive in perfect condition.
- Utilize handheld devices and GPS navigation to optimize delivery routes.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C) required with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to follow established routes efficiently.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on courtesy and problem-solving.
- Availability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a regular basis.
- Basic computer literacy and comfort using handheld devices.
