Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods to residential and commercial addresses
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation to maximize delivery speed and fuel efficiency
- Verify delivery details, obtain customer signatures, and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Provide exceptional customer service with friendly interactions during each delivery
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch via mobile app
Qualifications
- Valid New Mexico driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of delivery or commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly during shifts
- Strong knowledge of Albuquerque metropolitan area streets and neighborhoods
- Reliable smartphone with data plan for route navigation and communication
- Pass background check and drug screening as required by DOT regulations
- Flexible availability to work Saturdays and Sundays (6 AM - 6 PM shifts)
