Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting all findings accurately.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring proper securing and handling of freight.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery logs.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Keep the company vehicle clean and well-maintained.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the appropriate class (Class A or B) and endorsements.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Clean driving record (no DUIs, reckless driving, or major accidents in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work weekends, including Saturdays and Sundays.
