Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for weekend deliveries throughout Cleveland and surrounding areas
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload freight with proper securing techniques to prevent damage
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely weekend service
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all traffic laws
Qualifications
- Valid CDL (Class A or B) with current medical certification
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Cleveland metropolitan area roadways
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
