Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans for timely deliveries across Houston metro area
- Plan optimized routes using GPS technology to maximize efficiency
- Load/unload packages with precision and care (up to 50 lbs)
- Maintain detailed delivery logs and obtain customer signatures
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients on delivery status
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with inventory management when not on delivery routes
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Class C Driver's License with clean MVR
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Houston-area roads and neighborhoods
- Basic GPS navigation skills and route planning abilities
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Physical ability to lift packages and stand for extended periods
- Customer service mindset with professional communication skills
