Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans for local deliveries throughout Metro Detroit
- Load/unload cargo efficiently with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Optimize routes for timely deliveries while maintaining safety
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan driver's license with clean record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Familiarity with Detroit metro area navigation
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting
- Background check and drug test clearance required
- Commercial Driver's License (Class B) preferred
