Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport packages and goods on predetermined routes
- Efficiently manage delivery schedules using GPS navigation and route optimization tools
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for proof of delivery
- Inspect vehicles daily to ensure optimal safety and performance standards
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and resolve inquiries
- Coordinate with dispatch team to report delays or route adjustments
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience in urban environments
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shifts
- Strong knowledge of Houston metropolitan area roadways
- Proficiency with smartphone apps and basic navigation technology
- Reliable smartphone with data plan for communication
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
