Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods and materials across Raleigh and surrounding areas
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance compliance
- Load/unload cargo with precision and adhere to safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding delivery status
- Assist in route optimization to ensure timely deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina Class C Driver's License with clean MVR (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation systems
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work early mornings and occasional weekends
