Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A) to deliver freight to designated locations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and handling of goods.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A is preferred; no experience required – we provide training!
- Must be at least 21 years old and have a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Basic English reading and comprehension skills for safety compliance.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
