We are currently seeking highly motivated CDL Drivers to join our fleet in Long Beach, CA. What You Will Do:
As a part-time CDL Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across the region. You will work closely with our dispatch team to ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in safe operating condition.
- Safely load and unload cargo, ensuring all items are secured properly.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and mileage using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD).
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
- Keep the cab and cargo area clean and organized.
- Follow all company policies and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A or B) required.
- Must possess a clean driving record and pass a background check.
- Minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings or evenings.
