Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers on designated routes during night shifts.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Manage delivery schedules, maintain accurate electronic logging devices (ELD), and handle paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and route changes.
- Maintain a clean driving record and a professional appearance at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A or B) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
- Must possess a clean driving record and pass a background check and drug screen.
- Ability to work flexible night shift hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for minor vehicle troubleshooting.
