Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages and goods to residential and commercial locations using company vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for proof of delivery
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure timely and cost-effective service
- Inspect vehicles daily for safety compliance and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve delivery-related inquiries professionally
- Collaborate with dispatch team to manage delivery exceptions and special requests
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience in urban environments
- Strong knowledge of Columbus metropolitan area and surrounding regions
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Proficient with GPS navigation and mobile delivery applications
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
