Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages, food, or goods on time and in pristine condition
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology to maximize delivery speed and minimize fuel consumption
- Provide exceptional customer service during drop-offs and handle payment transactions professionally
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report any vehicle maintenance issues promptly
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Assist with loading/unloading procedures and inventory management when required
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding delivery status and route challenges
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional delivery or commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and basic delivery tracking systems
- Strong time-management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
- Pass background check and drug screening (mandatory)
- Must be 21+ years of age with reliable transportation to depot
