Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks to transport loose materials (soil, rock, sand, etc.) to and from construction sites.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Secure loads properly to prevent shifting or accidents during transit.
- Maintain a clean and safe driving record by adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors and crew members.
- Complete necessary paperwork, including delivery logs and maintenance records, accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating dump trucks in a commercial setting.
- Current DOT medical card and MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) within acceptable limits.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong knowledge of basic truck maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Must be able to lift and handle materials as needed.
