Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, gravel, and debris across job sites
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each haul
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with site supervisors to coordinate efficient loading/unloading operations
- Manage route planning to optimize delivery timelines and fuel efficiency
- Perform minor troubleshooting and report mechanical issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Specialized experience with dump truck operations and heavy equipment
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Nashville metro area and surrounding regions
- Strong attention to safety and detail-oriented mindset
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments
- Excellent communication and time management skills
