Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles following all traffic laws and company protocols
- Load/unload packages efficiently with proper handling techniques
- Plan optimal routes using GPS navigation to ensure timely deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during drop-offs and pickups
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Inspect vehicles daily for safety and report maintenance needs
- Communicate proactively with dispatch about delivery status and delays
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps
- Basic computer skills for digital delivery documentation
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends as needed
