Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional and long-haul routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload freight with precision and verify shipment documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding transit status
- Manage delivery documentation and ensure timely signature confirmations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Texas roadways and border-crossing procedures
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and fleet management systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
