Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles across NYC metro area
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and document maintenance needs
- Transport time-sensitive freight with on-time delivery focus
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and delivery documentation
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and clients
- Collaborate with warehouse team for efficient loading/unloading
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license (NY State)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to operate manual transmission
- Familiarity with NYC traffic patterns
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds occasionally
