Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles across designated routes
- Perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections and document all maintenance
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Efficiently manage loading/unloading operations with precision
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and delivery documentation
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding ETAs
- Represent the company professionally in all client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficiency in using electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with NYC metro area
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
