Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) for local deliveries in New Orleans metro area
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Complete pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Coordinate with dispatch for timely pickups and drop-offs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Manage load securement and basic freight handling procedures
- Report maintenance issues and vehicle performance concerns
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of New Orleans metropolitan roadways
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Strong time management and communication skills
