Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles in local Portland routes.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, ensuring all packages are secured and in excellent condition.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain proper signatures from recipients.
- Maintain accurate DOT logs, daily mileage logs, and vehicle inspection reports.
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Provide exceptional customer service to businesses and residents in the Portland metro area.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong knowledge of commercial vehicle operations and safety protocols.
- Physically capable of lifting and handling cargo up to 50 lbs and operating a manual transmission truck.
- Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Portland, Oregon area.
