Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for multi-stop delivery routes in Virginia Beach and surrounding areas
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections and ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Accurately document delivery paperwork and maintain electronic logs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization and on-time deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain clean driving record
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience with tractor-trailer
- Strong knowledge of Virginia roadways and DOT regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
