Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (24-26ft) for local and regional freight delivery
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each shipment
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time pickups/deliveries
- Inspect and maintain vehicle safety standards per DOT regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Manage basic paperwork including bills of lading and delivery confirmations
- Communicate proactively about delays or route changes
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck driving experience
- Reliable 24-26ft box truck in excellent mechanical condition
- Proof of commercial insurance ($1M liability coverage)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Seattle metro area and surrounding regions
- Basic smartphone proficiency for communication apps
- Professional appearance and strong communication skills
