Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles on established routes across Seattle and surrounding areas
- Load/unload cargo with precision using manual equipment and pallet jacks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and route documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during residential/commercial deliveries
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize routes for efficiency while adhering to delivery schedules
- Uphold company safety standards and DOT compliance at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in last 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly and operate manual pallet jacks
- Strong knowledge of Seattle metro area geography and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings and weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening (company policy)
- Basic computer literacy for delivery tracking systems
