Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van or refrigerated)
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Plan and execute efficient delivery routes across the Midwest
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Ensure timely and damage-free cargo delivery
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong knowledge of route planning and GPS navigation
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- No major preventable accidents in last 3 years
