Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) to deliver goods on time across Raleigh and surrounding areas
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections ensuring compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and digital tracking systems
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading processes
- Adapt routes efficiently for traffic/weather conditions to meet delivery windows
- Report maintenance issues and participate in preventive care programs
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route optimization
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Raleigh area geography and NC highway systems
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- DOT medical certification and required endorsements (Hazmat preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
