Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver freight across Michigan and surrounding states
- Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using electronic systems
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Adhere to all safety protocols and transportation regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or willingness to obtain through our training program
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for weight calculations and documentation
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
