Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for regional routes across Arizona and neighboring states
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and defensive driving practices
- Represent Swift Transportation professionally at all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license or ability to obtain within 90 days
- Clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic mechanical knowledge of commercial vehicles
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends
- No prior experience required - training provided
