Responsibilities
- Transport packages and documents to designated addresses in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, parking regulations, and safety protocols at all times.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers, resolving any delivery issues that may arise.
- Inspect vehicle condition before, during, and after each shift to ensure cleanliness and proper functionality.
- Utilize handheld delivery devices to track routes, update delivery status, and scan proof of delivery.
- Load and unload packages efficiently, ensuring they are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and paperwork as required by company policy.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License is required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Clean driving record with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Must possess a reliable smartphone and have access to a personal vehicle.
- Basic English proficiency for effective communication with dispatch and customers.
- Must pass a background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle report (MVR) check.
